KEINMAL MEHR SUCHEN
2022
Pre-Diploma
Animated Movie
This hand-drawn illustrated film explores the themes of losing, searching, and finding. It reflects on the emotional value objects hold for me and the feelings connected to their absence. I searched for objects I had lost and, when finding others instead, questioned to what extent these found objects could replace the ones I was originally looking for. The animated film was presented in November 2022 as the main project of my pre-diploma.

THE PERFECT WORLD
2024
Animated Movie
Pre-Diploma
This hand-drawn animated video follows a small tree that realizes it is part of a miniature world made entirely of plastic. Everything it believed to be alive is revealed to be artificial. The film explores the moment when familiar surroundings lose their sense of authenticity.

BEMA 2000 PLUS
2022
Handdrawn Illustration Book
This illustrated book is about losing, searching and finding. It is a story about the meaning of objects and what it means to find the right counterpart. It reflects my personal process and also the thoughts I had when I started working on my pre-diploma. The publication is mainly about an object I found, a water wing.

THE LITTLE SIN
2026
Poster
A hand-drawn poster about temptation and the dominance of desire of smoking.

SEVERAL ILLUSTRATIONAL WORK
ongoing

Kohlswat Poster Serie II.
2024
with Cédric Weber
HfG Karlsruhe
Together we designed five A1 posters and accompanying Instagram posts for a lecture series featuring various designers at the Karlsruhe University of Arts and Design in Summer 2024. Each design was based on an image provided by the invited speakers, referencing an existing or upcoming project. Using these images as a starting point, we developed independent visual interpretations.

Kohlswat Poster Serie I.
2023/2024
with Cedric Weber
HfG Karlsruhe
Prior to this project, we also designed KOHLSWAT in the Winter before. The concept was based on asking the invited designers about a mistake they had made earlier in their graphic design careers, reflecting the idea that progress is often driven by failure. The poster was printed in black using the risograph.

DER VOLLKOMMENE BAU
2023
BOOK
The book is based on Franz Kafka’s DER BAU, which centers on a creature living in an underground labyrinth. A new narrative imagines a research team discovering this labyrinth. The book consists of fictional discoveries and diary entries documenting the team’s exploration.

BookBau Festival
2024/2025
with Mia Ferrari
Bookfair
Together with Mia Ferrari, we developed the visual identity for BookBau Festival in Karlsruhe. The design included not only posters but also a website, on-site animations, floor navigation, tote bags, bookmarks and the instagram appearance. Website coded by Kristian Vrhar.

with Moritz Schneider
From April 4–6, 2025, the Court for Intergenerational Climate Crimes (CICC) convened at Ambika P3, London. Conceived by Radha D’Souza and Jonas Staal, it explored historical and ongoing climate and colonial crimes, including representation of non-human entities. Students and professors from Karlsruhe University of Arts and Designcontributed scenographically and theoretically. The web design was by Moritz Schneider and me, with coding by Kristian Vrhar.

THE LITTLE SIN
2025/2026
Several Outcomes
In this project, I contrast the classic angel-and-devil dynamic in the context of smoking. The focus lies on the inner voices that influence, tempt, and negotiate desire and restraint. The devil’s voice is deliberately dominant, overpowering the quieter voice of reason.

EL BARRIO FESTIVAL
2025
with NONOT, Internship
Corporate Identity
For the Music and Culture Festival EL BARRIO in Frankfurt , I developed the visual communication together with NONOT.

THE BURNING HEART OF THE SARDINE
2024
Comic Book Pages
A fictional reinterpretation of the Greek myth of Achilles, portrayed as an oppressive ruler. The pages are part of the comic DRAWING THE ILLEGIBLE, a project that transforms Lorem Ipsum and placeholder texts into narrative content. The publication was developed as part of a seminar led by Émilie Ferrat. Cover by Émilie Ferrat.

UMBAU JOURNAL
2022
with Leo Schick, Jessica Kessler & Grischa Erbe
Webdesign
Together with Leo Schick, Jessica Kessler, and Grischa Erbe, I designed the website for the HfG Karlsruhe’s online journal. Since its launch, four issues have been published.

GAMEBOARD CORRIDOR
2023
Booklet
During the summer school at Ravisius Textor, a week was spent working with Richard Niessen’s Palace of Typographic Masonry. The project focused on the so-called Game Corridor, resulting in the design of a game board inspired by the classic game PARCHESI. The outcome was a fold-out, playable board, risograph-printed in A4 format, featuring a newly developed version of the game. All works were required to incorporate one letter from Summer Palace; this project centered on the letter R.

100 4 100
2022
Magazin
with Leo Schick & Philipp Schultz
In collaboration with Leo Schick and Philipp Schultz, the visual identity for 100 for 100 was developed—an event at Raum für Illustration Hamburg in which 100 artists sold original works for €100 each. The project’s design was inspired by the aesthetics of teleshopping.
